Production Line
Nagara Paper’s production line is unlike other paper production lines. Starting with unused newapaper to ensure a proper balance of resin and PH level, the paper is recreated from pulp taking additional steps to modify its make-up according to customer requirements. In doing so, Nagara Paper can easily address the needs each of 3 major glass uses: Construction, Automotive, and Display.

Paper Marks
Discoloration is the result of a chemical reaction when glass is placed together with inadequate and improper protection between sheets. The glass becomes defective when these "Paper Marks" are present.

From left to right, though only slight, the paper marking is enough to render the sheet of glass unusable. Toward the right are samples of more extreme yet possible reactions. Inserting paper is a necessity to any operation that involves glass!
