Brush
Research Manufacturing (BRM) is a pioneer
in the development of abrasive finishing technology.
Deburring is a production headache and bottleneck,
a common problem that is often never fully addressed.
BRM studied the relationship between fine-surface
finishes and optimized-machine performance; the result
of their dedication is a variety of products such
as abrasive pads, wire-wheel brushes, and many other
special-use brushes.
In
addition to superb brushes, the patented Flex-Hone
Tool is the most popular choice among professional
mechanics and do-it-yourselfers alike. Flex-hone,
though similar to a brush, is in fact a honing tool.
Flex-Hone Precision Tools are used for automotive
diesel engines, general machine shops, oil industries,
hydraulics, pneumatic and aerospace utilities, food
confectionary and special design applications.

If
your specifications call for :
A
plateaued finish over 50%
A
finish free from cut, torn and folded metal
and if you want :
-
Lowered oil consumption
- Less Blow-by
- Less friction Then Flex-Hone it!
Typical
applications of the Flex-Hone tool include:
Air
Compressors
Hydraulic
Valve bodies and valve guides
Surface
finishing of boiler components
Compressed air tool bodies
Clutch
and brake master cylinders
Finishing on stainless steel tubing
Engine
cylinders and block liners
and
more!......
The Flex-Hone process products a controlled surface condition unobtainable by any other method. It involves finish, geometry and structure. Specially, it is a low-temperature abrading process that exposes the undisturbed base metal structure to produce a long wearing surface. It is a method of developing a surface on metal part which is optically smoot and metallurgically free of any fragmented, amorphous or smeared or smeared metal from previous operation.
